Welcome To The Farrell Family Foundation

"One of the more important gifts I could instill in my children is the knowledge that a true sense of satisfaction and fulfillment is achieved through giving back to the community. Giving is a responsibility, and should be done thoughtfully and carefully.

We see our gift giving as an investment upon which we look for a return; a return that is a quantifiable improvement in society.

In other words, we don't give based on needs; we invest in expected outcomes." - Dr Peter C. Farrell

Mission Statement

To contribute to the betterment of society through the support of education, health, human welfare and the arts.

An integral role of contributions will be to promote and encourage self-reliance, responsibility and accountability.

Royal Hospital for Women - Australia

The Madison Capaldi Research Fund (MCRF) has played a significant role in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Royal Hospital for Women for the last 18 years.  Fundraising events have supported and enabled thought-leading research, which has had a direct impact in lowering the rates of Necrotising Enterocolitis (NEC) and shaping clinical care guidelines to ensure this devastating gut disease for premature babies is becoming less frequent.

In September 2023 the MCRF took on the Everest Base Camp Trek for NEC research at The Royal and raised over $225,000.

"Since our child was diagnosed with cancer our family has been in emotional and financial turmoil. I don't think we could have made it through the ordeal without the support of the Red Kite social worker program, which the Farrell Family Foundation has generously supported."
